Glass tubes float on the base, held in place by an unseen force.  A stainless steel sphere rests in each vessel, attracted by strong magnets embedded in the base.  The vessels move independently and smoothly, limited only by your creativity.  The base is STAINLESS STEEL even though it looks white in the pics.  It is a brushed stainless steel.
